HNT

I’m back and I had a blast!

Wow!

I haven’t drank that much since college. Not since my college days have I gone on a week long bender where I was piss-ass drunk all day and night, pass out, wake up and start it all over again. But there were so many good beers there that I just had to try them all! And seeing that there is no such thing as open container laws or public intoxication laws on top of the Germans are so proud of their beer and want you to try it, I always seemed to have a beer in my hand.

I’m sure my liver is glad I’m back home now. I did put it thru a pretty good workout. My taste buds are glad to be back too because they are so sick of eating pork at every meal.

This is what I saw majority of my time in Germany:

And if you saw me there, this is what you saw me doing the whole time:

Yeah, drunk people can't take pictures.

I'll share more pics and stories tomorrow. Till then...
Happy HNT!

This Is For....

....All you Steelers haters out there:

The season has just started so don't you all start jumping on the "we told you so" bandwagon! Thanks to my dear friend Rat for helping out with this.

Okay, I will be going out of town this week so I'm busy and I won't be able to do an HNT. So I was thinking about posting the Top 3 of all the HNTs that I have done before. I will let you all decide. Here are the dates of past HNTs that I have really liked:

April 13th
May 11th
June 15th
June 29th
August 3rd
August 10th
September 7th

Tell me which are your favorite 3, and I will post those 3 on Thursday before I leave.

Blogger Has Been A HUGE Pain!!!

Well, Blogger has been a big bitch this whole weekend. Finally I found my blog up and got it up and running. So sorry I haven’t been visiting or commenting on all your blogs, I’ve been busy trying to find where the hell my blog went. I sent Blogger an e-mail asking why my blog keeps disappearing. I probably won’t hear anything back from them. BASTARDS!! I was starting to feel like Monk a few months back when his blog blew out. I too was also thinking of not continuing to blog if my blog couldn't be found.

Anyhoo

It’s week 2 of football season. Hope all your teams are doing well. My Steelers play tonight…I’m so excited! Get use to the Steelers talk folks...you got 15 more weeks of football season to hear about it!

My Plan Is Complete!

Comcast is finally out of my life!!!!

Yesterday I had Verizon Fios installed and so far I like that fiber optic whatever it is. My Internet is way faster than when I had cable. I'm just glad that I finally have other options than just having to go with one cable company. How is that allowed? Isn't there such a thing called monopoly laws that prevent this kind of thing from happening? Limpy, you're the lawyer tell us!!!

By the way, is anyone else having problems with Blogger today? I can log in and post, but I can't look at my blog. Is this happening to anyone else?

HNT

Today's HNT has a Special Guest Star. This Guest Star is also a Big Steelers Fan. In this pic she is showing her support for the team. What better way for a Big fan to show her support than by showing off her BIG boobies. Enjoy!

Happy HNT!

Is It Just Me?

Or does it seem like Fall came too soon? Has anyone else noticed how other people’s attitude has shifted toward a more depressed demeanor? I have. I’ve noticed that people at work are more tired and are starting to get colds. Damn the cold season! I’ve noticed that fellow bloggers are more lethargic than normal. You could say it was the whole 9-11 thing but I think it all started last week and has gotten worse. Anyone else notice anything going on?

Here’s some depressing news for you, The Dukes of Hazzard was on Cinemax last night. Yeah, I watched it. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t good either. But I didn’t need to turn the channel after watching 10 minutes of it. The best thing I can say about it is that Jessica Simpson did not do much acting. She pretty much just wore a bikini the whole time. That’s a good thing. I think I would have had to turn it if she had more than the 5 lines she was given. Would I recommend you go out and rent it? No. Watch it on Cinemax.

Happy Hump Day!

The Birthday Aftermath

First off let me say that I am very blessed to have friends who think I am great and want to share in the joy of me being born. But I think someone told them all I must be a starving Ethiopian child because for the last three days my friends have fed me well. It all started Saturday when one group of friends took me out for steak. On Sunday it was the Cheesecake Factory. Yesterday at work was two different kinds of cake. Last night was P.F. Chang’s and tonight more friends want to take me out for Italian. That’s a whole lot of eating folks. The good is it is all on someone else’s dime! And that is where the being blessed part comes in because my friends care enough about me to do that. It’s good to have friends like that when all of my family is back in Indiana and I’m the brave one out here alone. But due to all this good eating, I may not be able to pose for HNT for awhile because of the sudden weight gain I just know is a coming.

Anyhoo

Every year on my birthday I buy myself a new cell phone. This year I not only bought myself a new phone, I went with a new cell phone company too. Anymore with the way technology is going it seems like you have to change cell phones every year. I went from this from T-Mobile:

(This pic was taken with the new cell phone)

To this at Verizon:

I was with Verizon at one time and had an LG phone. I loved it! However, I am going to miss the lightweight and slimness of the Razor.

My Weekend In Review...

So I got Direct TV installed on Saturday. At first I was a bit upset because I was told by Direct TV that I wouldn’t need a landline phone to use it, which I don’t have nor am I going to get one because I use my cellphone. I needed to activate my HD DVR receiver from a phone line, so I came up with the brilliant idea of taking my receiver over to a friend’s house who had a landline phone to activate my receiver. It worked! So now my Direct TV is working fine and I’m loving watching football in HD on my 61 inches of goodness. Thanks to everyone for answering my questions about Direct TV and I’ll keep everyone up-to-date on it. This week will also be the final step towards kicking Comcast in the ass because I will be getting Verizon Fios Internet installed. This is the new fiber optic crap that everyone is raving about. So I thought I would give it a try. As you can see, I want the cable company out of my life FOREVER!!! It was getting to the point where it felt like me and the cable company were in an abusive relationship. So I decided it was time to break our little cycle of violence and move on to bigger and better things.

In other news, today is my birthday. I celebrated it with friends this past weekend by going to the Cheesecake Factory. That is a tradition my friends and I have for my birthday every year. If you have never been there, STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO NOW!!! Don’t deprive yourself of this tastiness any longer!!!

TGIF

Yes, I'm still gloating over my Steelers win, that and I don't have much to say today except GO STEELERS!!!

I hope everyone has a funfilled weekend planned. I plan on staying home all weekend. SHOCKING, I know but I'm getting Direct TV installed on Saturday so I will be spending the rest of my weekend playing with my new toy.

So who has Direct TV? Give me the good, the bad and the ugly about it. I just had to get rid of Comcast cable because their service was horrible and for the short 4 months of living where I live they raised my rates already. So I'm taking my foot and kicking Comcast in the ass. DAMN THE MAN!

I've Been Punk'd...er...I mean TAGGED!

My friend Kilroy tagged me for sort of a book review kind questionnaire. You book lovers ought to love this:

1. A book that has changed your life: He’s Just Not that into you by Greg Brehrendt.

2. A book you have read more than once: Why Men Love Bitches by Sherry Argov.

3. A book you would want on a desert island: Survival Guide 101.

4. A book that made you laugh: The Southern Rules by Ellen Patrick.

5. A book that made you cry: That Chemistry book that I had to read in college.

6. A book you wish you had written: What Smart Women Know

7. A book you wish had never been written: Any book about George W. Bush

8. A book you are currently reading: None, I’m lazy right now.

9. A book you have been meaning to read: Holy Blood, Holy Grail by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, and Henry Lincoln

10. Now tag 5 people: Do it if you want to. Let me know if you do.
