Holy Bloggers Batman!

Yesterday, since I had free time due to getting all my stuff moved, I decided to take a stroll around Washington D.C. to take it all in before I leave. While walking around D.C., I couldn't believe how many fellow bloggers I saw!

First, I saw Rat at the White House.














Apparently he said he had just about enough of the Bush administration that he came to D.C. to give ol George W a piece of his mind.

While I was talking to Rat, I noticed a huge commotion above the White House and noticed Flyboy was flying his plane just a bit too close to the White House.













"Supposedly" his navigation equipment was on the fritz.

Well, after both of them made bail, we all got together and decided to tour D.C. Here we all are having our pic taken peacefully in front of the White House:














As you can see, a good time was had by all.

The Steelers Game, Moving and Yeah....

So I went to the Steelers game yesterday.














Lawdy that was a painful game to watch! But my love for the Steelers is still strong!!! Check out the kick ass seat I had behind the Steelers bench on the 50 yard line:














Of course I got to see my man Alan Faneca:














I can't wait to see more of him this Saturday!!!

So while I am at the game, my seat happened to be next to a Ravens season ticket holder. I find it funny that he had season tickets on the opposing teams side. Anyhoo, he was convinced that he was going to turn me into a Ravens fan by the end of the game and even went as far as buying a Ravens jersey to see if I would put it on. I told him to go punt! My love for the Steelers can't be shaken!

So I got all my stuff moved into storage. I am ready to go. I've moved so much within the last two years that I am practically a pro at this moving shit. Remember, I just moved 6 months ago! Here I am like a Nomad moving again.

Sorry I haven't been around to visit many of you on your blogs. I will get around to it this week. It will be my last chance to "see" all of you for a while till I get settled. So I still have love for you all, just been a little busy.

I'm Back ...and Wow!

So I survived a visit with the family. I stayed at my sister's and was constantly hounded by four little kids. I love them to death, but WOW!

I drove home so as I could leave my car at my sister's while I'm gone for a year and I flew Southwest Airlines back. I really hate Southwest Airlines. I'm a window seat kind of gal. I like knowing when I get on a plane that I have a guaranteed seat by the window. I like being able to look out the window and see what is going on. I like being able to look out and see if gremlins are ripping the wing off the plane or if we hurling to the ground unexpectedly. This way I can start screaming and create a panic among the rest of the passengers. Hey~ I don't like suffering alone! So having to fight for a good seat on Southwest really sucks. But they were the cheapest flight so I had to suck it up and deal.

I'm glad to report that I had a window seat on my little Southwest Airlines experience. And I only had to push two old people and step on one small child to get it.

Today I will be at the Steelers - Ravens game today!!! I'm so excited!!!

I've Got Nothing

I don't have much to say today. I've been busy and this weekend I will spend it packing up my house and putting everthing into storage.

I bought myself a laptop to take with me on my little desert trip. And let me tell you, I'm digging that thing! Not that I have never used a laptop before or anything, but I like being able to lay in bed (nekkid of course) and surf the net. I'll post pictures of my new toy later. Till then, have a good weekend one and all!

Happy Blogversary To Me!

That's right folks. A year ago today I started this blog. It has been fun! I started out really shy and only posted quotes. Then I started getting a little braver and participated in HNT. Now I am up to ranting, raving and sharing life experiences with you all. Let's review this past year, shall we?

I have participated in HNT 48 times. Of those 48 times, I showed my ass for only 19 of those times. I only raved about the Steelers 57 times, and out of those 57, I only carried on and on about Alan Faneca 32 times. I started out only having one reader and that was JD's Rose, and now I am up to 25. More if you count HNT days. Is that enough stats for ya? Good, because I'm tired of counting.

I was going to save this for later, but what the hell...it's my blogversary. I leave for Iraq at the beginning of next month. So I won't be posting much in December. When I get settled, I plan on blogging as much as I can. Think of me while I'm over there and be sure to send me care packages!

You Ain't Gonna Believe This!!

I took this pic with my camera phone while I was at the gas station this weekend because if I didn't, you wouldn't believe me. Take a good look:














This woman walked up to me and asked me if I would show her how to pump gas. Let me say that again, how to pump gas. She looked like she was 45 and had been driving for 30 years! She walked over and asked me that and I seriously looked around for the Punk'd cameras. I couldn't believe it. I had to show her how to use her credit card at the pump, how to select the grade of gas and how to pump it. Again, I looked around because I just knew the Punk'd cameras were close by. But no one jumped out and screamed I'd been punked, so I really was dealing with a retard.

Other than that, I had a three day weekend this past weekend. I had Friday off for Veterans day. I saw the new Will Ferrell movie Stranger Than Fiction. It was okay. But then again, I'd pay to see Will Ferrell paint a fence. I love that man!

On another good weekend note, MY STEELERS KICKED ASS YESTERDAY!!!!! I know, I know. About time. Hope you all had a good weekend.

I Can't....

....throw a rock in my area without hitting someone who is from Pittsburgh. So I went for my yearly appointment the other day. If you are a female, you know what I'm talking about. That's right. The jaws of life were inserted insided of me and the doctor tried to remove my pride.

Anyhoo

So I'm sitting in the room waiting on the doctor and she comes in and immediately comments on my Steelers sweatshirt. She then proceeds to tell me she just moved here from Pittsburgh and then starts talking about the Steelers season. A good half-hour of talking about Pittsburgh and the Steelers later, she finally realized I was there for my appointment.

It's just amazing that where ever I go, I always seem to run into a Pittsburgher. I think I'm a Pittsburgher magnet or something. Not that I'm complaining or anything.

But look what the doctor did to my poor arm:








I hate getting my blood drawn. My blood doesn't like leaving my body and shows me its displeasure of this by having me pass out. That's right, I faint every time I have blood drawn. No it doesn't help if I look away. I guess I'm just a blood drawing pansy.

BTW, how about CNN was quick to report last night that Britney Spears filed for divorce from K-Fed. Not that we were all shocked by this.

Game Show Greats

Man I miss a good game show. Remember Press Your Luck? I use to love that game show. I think I liked it because I use to laugh at the contestants who would press their luck and get a Whammy and lose it all. Were the contestants being greedy or stupid? Hard to say. All I know is that I loved pointing and laughing when they Whammied.















I also use to love the game show The Weakest Link too. I loved how Ann Robinson was such a complete bitch to the contestants when they got voted off. She might as well have said, "Get up on out of here you big dummy!"


























I see that ABC is now going to start a new game show called Show Me The Money. I'm curious to see if that is going to be worth a shit. I'm just hoping that there will be plenty of stupidity going on for me to point and laugh at. Is that wrong of me?

That is the houses in the back of mine. Whatever neighbor that lives there can look right thru that window and see my nekkid self laying on my couch. Do you think they have a telescope and are spying in? I walk around nekkid a lot and I'm sure they are getting an eye full. I didn't have this problem over the summer with the trees all in full bloom. If I keep the blinds closed all the time I'm gonna feel like I'm living like a bat. I guess I will just have to join the world of the clothed.
